48F Industrial Fiber Optic Cable Water Blocking Tape Loose Buffered
a:Introduction
The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. FRP locates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) is applied around the cable core, which is to protect the cable from water ingress. Then the cable core is covered with a thin PE inner sheath. After the PSP is longitudinally applied over the inner sheath, the cable is completed with a PE outer sheath.
b: Feature
1) Excellent mechanical and temperature performance
2) Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber and resist the water
3) Loose tube stranding cable core ensures the cable structure stable
4) single steel wire as the central strength member to withstand axial loads
5) aluminum tape longitudinal cover cable core as moisture barrier
6) corrugated steel tape longitudinal cover cable core and provide good crush resistance
c: Application
Long distance and LAN communication
